Thank you for all your wonderful submissions to the 2023 ENDANGERED Fine Art & Photography Contest. Our jurors will now begin the task of reviewing all the submissions and selecting the winners.

The 2023 ENDANGERED Online! Exhibition will be open from November 20th to December 23rd, 2023.

Contest Overview

The ENDANGERED Fine Art & Photography Contest is a global, juried, online art contest aiming to focus on the plight of endangered and threatened species/habitats. The challenge is to interpret or reflect ENDANGERED through either: 

• Celebration of the beauty of endangered/threatened species/habitats, or

• Illustration of the threats facing endangered species/habitats

Please note – species do not have to be formally listed as endangered in order to be eligible for this contest as long as an element of threat exists. 

The categories for entry are:

• Fine Art (including sculpture, jewelry, and wearable art)

• Fine Art Photography (digital manipulation accepted)

This contest and subsequent exhibition aim to encourage artists and photographers to focus their skill and creativity on the issues facing endangered species and habitats while raising funds to support the Center for Great Apes, a sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees in need of lifetime care.

All of the 2023 submissions will be posted on the Submissions/Blog page and on our social media channels. They are posted in submission date order, and in small batches, to the website and to each of our social media channels in turn, so there may be some delay between when you submit your work to when they are displayed online.
